The launch of Cannes Young Lions winning cinema ad for the Irish Network Against Racism (INAR) took place in Cineworld on Thursday 16th January. Wide Eye Media and Pull the Trigger were sponsors of 2019 Cannes Young Lions competition cinema category.
The winning cinema advert launched INAR’s iReport.ie incident reporting app, to make recording and responding to racism easier. The winners of the competition Eoin Tierney (Boys+Girls) and Paul Kinsella (Ogilvy) used real-world footage of racial incidents, highlighting the reality of racism in our society.
As part of Wide Eye Media’s sponsorship, the commercial is currently distributed nationwide in Irish cinemas with films rated 15A and above.
