The pull of the big screen, surround-sound, cinema-going experience has quickly driven people away from their sofas, with cinematic releases shaping our culture because of the associated buzz. Excellent openings and footfall across The Batman, Sing 2, Spiderman: No Way Home, Uncharted and Belfast, result in these topping the box office year to date. Meanwhile cinema advertising sales are edging towards pre-pandemic levels. Core’s latest investment forecast shows an increase in Cinema advertising by +68% in ROI in 2021 - set to grow again this year by +82%.

The incomprehensible yellow Minions have become a symbol of frivolity and fun. MINIONS: THE RISE OF GRU picks up where the story began, serving as a prequel to Despicable Me. With the original Minions taking the No.3 spot in ROI box offices in 2015, this is one to watch this Summer.

BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER is the sequel to the critically acclaimed of Black Panther. With mystery surrounding the plot, this is sure to garner a lot of attention when it releases this November.
If there was ever a candidate for ‘future guilty pleasure’, it’s TICKET TO PARADISE. When a divorced couple try to advise their daughter on romance, things don’t go to plan. Starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts, this is a classic, feel-good rom-com in the making that harkens back to Just Go With It.
From West End to the big screen, this musical version of Roald Dahl’s classic has been a commercial and critical success since its debut, winning 12 awards. Starring Emma Thompson as Miss Trunchbull, MATILDA will pull in fans old and new when it hits cinemas this December.
